Chapter Overview

Northern New Jersey ASTD is a long-standing and nationally recognized chapter of the American Society for Training and Development.

We announce all of our activities via this website and through email announcements. Our primary chapter activities break out as follows:

Monthly Chapter Meetings
These meetings are typically held on the second Tuesday evening of the month. Networking and dinner are followed by a speaker on a topic of general member interest.

Special Interest Groups (SIG)
We have four active sub-groups:
1. Sales Training
2. eLearning
3. Organization Development
4. Career Transition

The chair(s) that run each SIG schedule meetings based on the needs of the attendees.

Executive Breakfasts
Twice each year, we schedule speakers on topics that are judged to appeal primarily to senior learning leaders. All members, however, are invited to attend.

Professional Development Programs
As the Voice of Workplace Learning, we present train-the-trainer programming on key business topics via one-day seminars throughout the year. We typically offer world class programming at very reduced pricing to support the professional development of our members.
