Good stories entertain and inform. Great stories inspire and challenge. This is true in our personal lives. It's also true in business.
Effective business stories convey the values and beliefs of an organization. They illustrate experiences that reinforce an individual and collective sense of purpose, meaning and vision. If all we need is an appeal to the intellect, data and charts will suffice. But when we need to generate the kind of energy and enthusiasm that celebrates who we are and what we can accomplish, we turn to stories. Stories lift us by harnessing head, heart and hand. They invite us into experiences that connect us directly with not just the storyteller, but with those around us. There is power in storytelling – so how can we capture it?
About Our Program
Laura Queen, our featured speaker for the meeting is the Chief Learning Officer at Teva Pharmaceuticals.
